This commuting contract offers a market-leading balance of high earnings and quality time at home.
- Premium Commuting Package:
- 10 consecutive days off at your home domicile every month.
- 2 additional travel days (Blank Days) provided specifically for commuting.
- $2,000 USD monthly allowance (or confirmed Business Class tickets on ANA).
- Competitive Compensation:
- Annual salary increases on every anniversary of your start date.
- Annual Incentive Bonus: Currently targeted at $13,500 for First Officers (FY2025/26).
- Contract Completion Bonus: An $18,000 lump sum payment upon completion of your 5-year term.
- Allowances & Security:
- Accommodation: 200,000 JPY monthly allowance for a Tokyo apartment OR company-provided hotels.
- Retirement: $600 monthly contribution to a provident fund/pension.
- Daily Per Diem: 13,000 JPY per day during line operations.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours minimum.
- Commercial Jet Experience: 500 hours on Multi-Engine Jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 65,000kg.
- Command/PUS Experience: Hold a Command Rating on multi-crew cockpit aircraft with at least 250 hours PIC OR 500 hours PUS (Pilot Under Supervision).
- Navigation Assets:
- 200 hours Total Cross Country flight time.
- 100 hours PIC (or PUS) Cross Country flight time.
- Instrument & Night Time: 75 hours of Instrument flight time (actual or simulated) and 100 hours of Night flight time.
- Licensing: Valid ICAO State ATPL (including a Radio Telephony License held for a minimum of 2 years).
- English Proficiency: ICAO Aviation English Certificate (Grade 4 or above).
- Medical: Valid ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate (must pass Air Japan/JCAB Class 1 medical examination).
- Recency & Age: Must have operated as a flight crew member on a commercial jet within the last 12 months and be under 50 years of age at the time of commencement.
- Commitment: Ability to complete the sixty (60) month assignment period.
